Inspired by nature
I have been a graphic designer for more than 20 years. A wild and beautiful French 16th century tapestry inspired me to make patterns with thistles and artichokes.
My tray tables, cutting boards and coasters are handicraft from Öland in Sweden.
My patterns are printed digitally on cotton and linen fabric with eco-friendly colors in Borås, the Swedish textile metropolis.
The pattern Kronärt is now available in china – I have added my patterns to new mugs as well as unique flea market finds.
Stixig – black/white photos of thistles, where so much information in the image is removed that the image becomes pixelated. Up close you can see most small, black squares, but if you take a couple steps back the thistles emerges clearly. The curtains and oilcloth thistle is about one meter wide and two meters high in the 'flower'.
• Products: Curtains, cushions, oilcloth, trays, tray table, coasters
Kronärtskocksdjungel – pictures of artichokes, enlarged so that the exciting detail stands out: striped, strong stems and beautiful petals.
• Products: Curtains, cushions, trays, tray tables
Kronärt – a variant of Kronärtskocksdjungel inspired by Andy Warhol. A single artichoke placed against solid background in bold colors.
• Products: Cushion covers, mugs, cutting boards, trays, tray tables, coasters
