The trays are manufactured in Sweden, of birch wood, taken from the forests up here in the North. They consist of multiple layers, which can be seen on the striped edge. On the front side of the tray is paper printing with the artichoc or thistle pattern. All the layers are put into a press using high heat and pressure transforming the stack of vaneer to a tray. The edges are milled rounded to the tray to make it feel comfortable to hold and increase the product lifespan. In order to protect and give a nice surface there is finally a lacquer layer.
